Tom Heasman joins Access Platform Sales

Access Platform Sales (APS) is excited to announce that Tom Heasman has joined the team as South West Area Sales and Key Account Manager.

A Strong Technical and Sales Background

Tom has been part of the access industry since he was 16, bringing a wealth of hands-on and commercial experience.

He began his career as an engineer with A-Plant, building a strong technical foundation and gaining invaluable on-site knowledge.

He went on to spend over three years specialising in spider lift sales at Elite Access, developing a deep understanding of customer requirements and machine applications.

In 2017, Tom progressed to JLG Industries, further expanding his industry expertise and in 2019 he moved into a sales role.

This combination of engineering know-how and sales experience means Tom truly understands both the machines and how they are used on site.

Although he’s well-known in the Hinowa spider lift and tree surgery markets, Tom’s experience with JLG and other access platforms means he has a broad knowledge of booms, scissor lifts, low-level access equipment and more.

This makes him well-placed to support APS customers across the entire range.

In his new role, Tom will be helping customers across the South West with straightforward advice, fast quotations and building long-term relationships.

Based in Gosport near Portsmouth with his wife and four children, Tom keeps busy outside of work with running, gym training, paddleboarding, skiing and live music.
