Our Story

Our business was founded on two basic principles, to to help people work safely and productively at height and deliver exceptional customer service

We still stand by these principles 35+ years later, and retain the same passion and enthusiasm for both the equipment, and to providing our customers with a personalised and cost-effective solution to working at height safely.

Since 1987 Access Platform Sales have proudly represented some of the very best brands of powered access platforms and material handling equipment in the UK. We work very closely with our suppliers, and coupled with our financial strength we can offer our customers high quality and superb performing equipment at competitive prices, with many being available from stock for fast delivery.

Our support doesn’t stop with the sale either! We can offer flexible finance solutions, IPAF approved operator training and a range of affordable after-sales services (including LOLER examinations) designed to keep your equipment performing year on year.

Who are Access Platform Sales and what do you do?
Access Platform Sales (APS) supply, hire and support powered access equipment – including scissor lifts, boom lifts, spider lifts and vehicle mounts – for working safely at height. We work with leading manufacturers and help customers choose the right platform for their jobs and budget.
We support customers throughout the UK & Ireland, with sales, hire and after-sales service available via our regional depots and nationwide engineer network.
Yes. We supply brand-new access platforms from leading brands as well as carefully inspected, approved used machines. Our team can advise on the best option based on how often you use the equipment, your applications and budget.
We work with contractors, aviation, facilities managers, local authorities, hire companies, industrial sites and specialist trades of all sizes – from small businesses needing their first machine to national fleets.
Our support includes servicing, LOLER inspections, genuine parts, repairs and operator training. We aim to keep downtime to a minimum and make sure your machines remain safe, compliant and ready to work.
We don’t offer short-term hire, however if you’re interested in hiring one of our machines, get in touch and we can recommend you to one of our hire partners to get the machine you need.
